Time has moved forward and I am back at needing to lose weight again. I am going to try to share this journey with you during exercise. And, also, I am going to try to share this journey with you during establishing better eating habits.
I am excited to be with you again. However, I am not excited that I need to lose weight again. So, I will be as open as possible and I hope to encourage you to become your healthy self. Not only physically, but mentally and spiritually.
The top most important point in our life is our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that you are truly spending time with Him in both reading and studying God’s Word, in prayer with Him, and in time listening to Him speaking into your life. Our Lord is wanting to establish a rich and passionate life with you.
Next, let’s look at spending time in keeping our body healthy. Let’s look at exercise and various thoughts about exercise. One thought to consider is how much activity have you done lately in your life. If you are very active, then you should be able to continue with being active. If you haven’t been very active, you should start out slowly to get your activity back to a good level. Take your time and work as much as your body will allow. It is good to exercise 150 minutes a week. Maybe you can walk only, and that is good. Maybe you can add some strength exercises, and that is good.
Next, let’s look at another aspect of keeping our body healthy. Let’s look at eating. I am beginning a weight loss plan for the next six weeks. It is called the 2024 R3 Weight Loss Challenge. I will give you the link to join in this weight loss challenge because I want to encourage you to also participate. If you are unable to participte this time, there will be more challenges coming this year. This challenge will definitely guide you in eating correctly for your body and so I encourage you to join. There will be other weight loss challenges thru out this year. The first challenge will begin this Jan 8, 2024. There is a great community on the social network – facebook. This community is well established with friends who have accomplished previous challenges and they are ready to encourage. There are new friends who will be doing this challenge for the first time. I will state that this is my first time participating in this challenge. I am so looking forward to receiving a break through from our Lord to guide me in losing weight.
